Melissa began her painting career around 2000 in the tiny mountain town of Rollinsville, Colorado. Up in the foothills, there are no big painting outfits — just homeowners who need things done well and tradespeople who earn their reputation one job at a time. That's where Melissa learned the craft and developed the standard she still holds today.

Over the years, she built a reputation for quality and care — not volume. If you want it done fast, there are larger outfits for that kind of job. If you want it done right, with genuine care for your home and your family, you won't find better.

In 2024, Melissa moved with her family to Fort Collins and now brings that mountain-town care and passion for color and style to the Northern Front Range. Where the wall meets the ceiling — that's where you see the difference. Getting a crisp, sharp line at that junction is one of the hardest things in painting. Normal tape techniques don't handle it well. Tape can pull up fresh paint, leave adhesive residue, and still bleed at the edges. It's the spot most painters struggle with.

The painting industry is overwhelmingly male-dominated. Melissa has been an exception to that norm for over two decades — not by making a statement, but by doing excellent work, project after project.

After years painting mountain homes in Rollinsville and the surrounding foothills, Melissa and her family put down roots in Fort Collins in 2024. The move brought 25 years of Colorado painting experience — the altitude, the UV, the temperature swings, the hail — to a new community that values craft and care.
